Engineering simplicity
Today’s a special day for this website: it finally gains a user-friendly homepage that showcases all the functions I’ve built up (and re-built!) over the past five months.
I’ll miss the big cover photograph of the compass, but I realise nobody comes here to look at photographs of compasses (no matter how much I liked it). Google was onto something with a plain-white screen, and I’ve been trying to engineer simplicity into everything I’m doing now … taking away, shortening, reducing the number of clicks required, making it easier to share absolutely anything, anywhere.
